Coming in well under budget and completed within one week's time, the new roof on the education building is finished and it looks fantastic. As a dedicated group of volunteers, church members gathered to demolish the old roof, and lay the new one, while others prepared snacks, lunches and beverages for the laborers. Despite the pouring rain, there was much laughter and fellowship accompanying the work, until it was completed.
Sincere thanks goes out to everyone who was involved, who took time off work, and gave of themselves to make our place of worship more functional and attractive. You are a blessing!
It’s nice to have loving, caring friends who are willing to cooperate and invest their time in something like this. It shows that, despite all the bad things happening out there in the world, there is still some good left in people. I’m pretty sure this job only took a day to finish! They all looked happy to put in their time and effort to work on the roof! You are truly blessed to be surrounded with those people!
